This board is for thoughtful discussion of biblical topics.

To ensure thoughtful discussion:

• All posts are moderated to ensure they meet that standard.

• You will only be allowed to post once per quarter to each forum.

• Claims made in a post must be supported. We have:
  • respect for support from good translations of the Bible
  • a little respect for support from other posts on this site
  • no respect for the opinions of men

The foundation for discussions is the Church of God (Seventh Day) doctrine as presented in This We Believe. The denomination has an open creed tradition. Therefore, posts that present other views will be accepted but must be marked as such at the beginning of the post.

As "Seventh Day" is found in the name of the denomination, keeping the 7th day is a core belief. Posts with other views on that topic will be rejected.

Submissions must be your own work, not that of others. If you know of a good article encourage the author to post it here, himself. You may not proxy an article for another author here.

You may quote from any sources, including other articles, but those quotes must be attributed. Keep in mind that we do not value the opinions of men.
